Position Summary:
Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members and guests through professional and enthusiastic greetings and by supplying helpful information to all inquiries.
Primary Duties:
• Perform front desk duties: greet members/guests, answer and direct phone calls, give facility tours, assist with member and guest registrations.
• Manage the court paddle rack system and ensure players utilize appropriate courts and follow open play rules.
• Serve as a membership and the facility subject matter expert by answering questions and sharing information.
• Promote membership through daily guest interaction and special events.
• Assist with membership registration in person, via email, and via phone.
• Ensure the facility is clean, organized and maintains an appealing visual presentation.
• Assist with registration and execution of special events.
• Take food and drink orders and serve patrons.
• Handle sales transactions of pro-shop items and alcoholic beverages.
• Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries and manage outgoing mail.
• Attend company meetings and training sessions.
• All other duties as assigned by Owner, Managers, and Assistant Managers.
Minimum Educational & Experience Requirements:
• Customer Service experience
• Pickleball knowledge, experience, and love of the game preferred
Minimum Skill Requirements
• Proficient with computers and various software
• Effective and professional verbal and written communications
Prefer flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
Physical Demands:
In terms of an 8-hour workday, “occasional” equals 1% to 33%, “frequent” equals 34% to 66% and “continuous” equals 67% to 100%. However, some duties are performed monthly, annually or sporadically throughout the year and are essential functions.
